Sheeting Capabilities

Our Sheeting capabilities centre around our two dedicated sheeting systems—one for paper and another for board. These machines can be reset to run other rolls, including film, synthetic materials and label stock.

Today’s high speed offset presses require very accurately cut sheets. More conventional technology has meant that printers had to satisfy themselves with imprecisely cut sheets—resulting in unnecessary waste and loss of production to clear up spoiled sheets. As well, loose fibres from badly cut sheets tend to damage printing machines, as well as cause a health hazard.

Our sheeting systems use cutting edge twin knife technology for super clean and accurate cuts. Our paper sheeter has four unwind stands, while the board sheeter has two unwind stands.

Our sheeting systems also feature three bar rotary decurlers, four web guide aligners, four tension controllers and an ink pad marking system. Each sheeting system has a dedicated A3 size label printer to provide large size labels for each pallet of converted sheets.

With the installation of our sheeting systems, we have installed a leading edge wrapping system. This wrapping line incorporates two stretch wrapper and works automatically to first wrap horizontally and then vertically. Click here for more details.
